A MIGHTY CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

The Mighty Men gathered to celebrate Christmas and to get a view of upcoming events in 2025.
We also bestowed the very first “Man of the Year” award to the one and only Bill Ahr for his show of character, commitment, community service, and spiritual growth.
THANKSGIVING FOOD DELIVERY 2024
Mighty Men and their families & friends showed up in a big way last Saturday to bless other families in greater Cincinnati! More than 50 people participated in this year's delivery of 100 turkey's and other food items for our neighbors in need. To many neighbors, we were the hands and feet of Christ!
Mighty men continue to be blessed with the support and participation of our members and the community. Thanks to all for giving your time to help others!! Special gratitude to the man who has organized this event for the past 8 years, Jack Scheidt. We appreciate such a great organization as St. Vincent de Paul, for partnering with us for 9 years, making this special service project so meaningful and impactful.
WARRIORS ROAD TRIP
November 16, 2024
On Saturday November 16th a group of our Mighty Men went on an adventure up to the Wright Patterson Airforce Museum for a day of comradery and aircraft.
Being a part of a group and getting to know some new friends and sharing some laughs with some old friends is great! Thanks to our very own tour guide Mark Exeler, who led the group through the museum again this year!
We shared a great lunch together on our way home. Thanks again to all the men who participated in the Warriors Road Trip this year.
KEENLAND 2024
Opening Day at the Fall meet October 4th
Second annual Mighty Men Keeneland outing with our wives/significant others.
We were blessed again this year with beautiful weather.
Great food and fun times playing games together. A new champion was decided in the famous Left Right Center dice game. LaDenna Exeler (wife of last year’s winner Mark “I play to win” Exeler) won the pot and took home the new Champions Cup!
A terrific opportunity to be together and share the blessing Mighty Men has been in the lives of our members!

This was amazing!
In its ninth year, this camping outing set records. Almost 50 men, the largest campfire, a Friday simulcast with Patrick Morley, clearing trails, mending fences, spectacular food (nobody left hungry), and God touching men’s hearts. Ex-secret service agent, Jim Meyer presented “The Lamb in the Whitehouse.” Sunday morning, the “Three Amigos” discussed Job and his triumph through tragedy. There are so many blessings that come through adversity. Everyone was moved by the Holy Spirit this weekend.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (ESV, Romans 15:13).
HOPE TO DREAM
August 24, 2024
Forty-two Mighty Men joined SVDP, Morris Furniture, Chick-fil-A, and several others in an effort to serve the children and their families of Cincinnati by setting up and delivering beds for a good night’s sleep. Fifty beds were given to children who will sleep better, some of whom have not slept in beds before.
Thanks to channels 9 and 12 for getting the word out that Cincinnati still has needs and that there are willing participants who sacrificially give their time, energy, and prayers for these families. Tell me that you can look at the second photo without a small tear of joy. This is why we are here. This is our commitment to the community in God’s name.

BED DELIVERY
On January 28, Mighty Men partnered with Saint Vincent de Paul for the first bed delivery of 2023. We delivered the new style beds that contain a boxed, vacuumed sealed mattress and a boxed platform frame. We prayed with the families that these beds bring restful nights of sleep. Afterward, we refueled at a local lunch spot.

HOPE TO DREAM
On August 27, 2022, we helped to fulfill the Hope to Dream for 75 kids who didn’t have a bed to sleep in. Partnered with Saint Vincent de Paul, Morris Home, Ashley, WCPO- Channel 9, Chic-fil-A, and the Cincinnati Reds.
Assembling and delivering 75 beds to children who didn’t have a bed previously.

GREY WOLF CAMP

SVDP BED DELIVERY
We do this on the 4th Saturday of every month.
Deliver mattresses, box springs, and bed rails to neighbors (elderly, handicapped, and single mothers with no transportation) that are clients of SVDP.
Deliver between 10 and 15 beds each month to our neighbors in need.
EMPOWERED YOUTH
The annual service project is done in conjunction with the Mighty Men Grey Wolf Camp weekend.
Donation of building materials and labor each fall to help in the renovation of onsite buildings and storage facilities.
Empowered Youth supports projects like Weekend Food Bags, Dream Big, and Sending Kids To Camp became part of our Student Support programs. As needs arise, Empower Youth continues to fill in gaps with hygiene closets, school supplies, and making house calls at the request of teachers and administrators.
SALT MINISTRIES
(Serving Avondale Loving Transforming)
SALT Ministries is called to serve Avondale by loving and transforming like Jesus. Their ministry area is on two adjacent streets in Avondale: Hutchins and Lexington Avenues. Relationship building is key to the ministry. SALT is dedicated to getting to know neighbors and sharing our gifts. Core to the mission is seeing what God is already doing and coming alongside the neighbors.

Kids and coaches’ program - Every Monday from 5:30-7:30, adult volunteers invest time with neighborhood children to build relationships and be a stable, consistent presence in their lives.
DAY TO DREAM
We made it a Day to Dream for 60 kids who didn’t have a bed to sleep in at night. Partnered with Morris Home, WCPO - Channel 9 on your side, Chic-fil-A, Park National bank, and the Cincinnati Reds.
Assembling and delivering 60 beds to children who didn’t have a bed previously.

HOLIDAY FOOD DELIVERY
During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays the Mighty Men come together alongside our strategic partner, St. Vincent de Paul to personally deliver boxes of food directly to neighbors’ homes.
Assisted by SVDP, Mighty Men focus on hand delivering holiday food to neighbors that are elderly, physically challenged, and single mothers with no transportation.
Ms. Linda Knight wrote in a lovely thank you card this past year “Thank you and Bless your hearts for making my Christmas a little more enjoyable. Thank you for the food box. Blessings”
