Perfect Age for Adventure?

Hey all you Mighty Men!

So, you must have heard by now the new series from Crossroads Church The Adventurous Life! I must be honest, at first, I thought that I was not feeling mentally or physically up for any adventure! Brian Tome can get away with action/adventures because Crossroads hired a body double for all his on-camera stunts and such! Seriously, the more I thought about the invitation and challenge that was being presented by Brian, I thought this kind of adventure is perfect for any age. Yes, that’s correct, no matter what age you are or how tired you may be feeling men, God is calling all of us to take on the challenge of adventure now!

Look at our Mighty Men website. Adventure awaits you in South Avondale! Take a walk on the wild side and sign -up online and volunteer July 18th. One of Mighty Men’s most adventurous members Larry Plum, the founder of this amazing ministry called South Avondale Loving & Transforming Ministry (SALT). We will be helping to clean up a lot and a house that is being rehabbed by SALT. This property will be a neighborhood community center in South Avondale. Maybe God is calling you to step out your comfort zone and volunteer in a part of Cincinnati you normally don’t travel to and meet and help neighbors you normally don’t get to engage! Pray about it guys! Listen for God’s still quiet voice and then obey. You never know, this could be the adventure that leads you to bigger more exciting life adventures.

Do not listen to the lies whispered by other people or that voice in your head telling you, not now your too old. Now is your time to keep your foot on the gas, as you are making that last turn in life and decide to take on adventure every day and be an example to those around you that might be waiting for someone to lead the way to the adventurous life that is waiting for each of us! If you need a guide or just a friend to help direct you? Your Mighty Men brothers are always here to help you. Email us at Mightymenofc@gmail.com
